Why does my booklet need pages in multiples of 4?
Each sheet of paper has 4 booklet pages (2 front + 2 back). We pad your PDF to the next multiple of 4 with blank pages so every sheet is fully used.
How do I print it?
Load your paper, print double-sided with 'flip on short edge' (or equivalent), collect the sheets in order, and fold the stack in half through the center. The pages will be in reading order.
What about thick booklets?
This tool does a single signature (all pages in one fold). For very long documents you'd want multiple signatures (4 × 16-page signatures for a 64-page booklet) — not supported yet.
